REVEALING THE ALEF

This painting emerged through allowing the flow of emotion, movement, and surrender. Layers of color poured onto the canvas, reflecting the many emotional landscapes we move through as individuals and as a nation; anger, sadness, joy, and everything in between.

Being that we're currently counting the Omer, these flowing colors also represent the Sefirot within us: the emotional and spiritual energies that shape our experience. When disconnected from our essence, they can express themselves through ego and fragmentation. But when connected to the Alef , the Divine spark and oneness within us — they become integrated expressions of body and soul.

As the painting unfolded, the golden Alef emerged from within the chaos: a symbol of the Divine Presence that exists beneath and within all things.

Inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s teachings, this piece reflects the idea that revealing the “Alef” of Hashem within our world reveals Geula, redemption.

May this painting inspire us to embrace every color of our experience and discover the Divine Presence flowing within it all.
